My Story
Brittany McNair is a massage therapist specializing in structural massage, myofascial release therapy, Tui Na, Gua Sha and cupping. On Tuesdays Brittany takes her practice off the table and onto the mat for Thai massage, a traditional therapy combining assisted yoga postures, accupressure, and Indian Aryurvedic principles.
She works with her clients to help unwind and align the body, to ease and diminish pain, to improve movement, and to empower her patients. Brittany's care philosophy is guided by the very notion of empowerment. It begins with not merely understanding a patient's need, but also caring to deliver a unique and thorough plan for achieving the best possible outcome.
Forever interested in massage therapy, Brittany's passion for the field blossomed after an automobile accident left her with chronic rotator cuff pain and limited motion. As part of her rehabilitative process, massage was prescribed so that she could find drug-free pain relief and restore her range of motion. The recovery was so successful that it ignited her insatiable curiosity and launched her path toward helping others achieve similar results through the field of facilitated bodywork.
Brittany McNair is a graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland Oregon. More recently she completed coursework at the esteemed Baan Hom Samunphrai School, a Thai massage school and herbal health center in Chiang Mai Thailand.
Brittany is an avid cyclist, a decades-long devotee of yoga and pilates, and has been known to carry a tune. Incorporating regular active movement is a key to her healthy lifestyle and positive vibes.
